Safari – How to Enable Desktop Notifications for Incoming Calls

Open Safari.
Navigate to the Safari tab at the top-left corner of the window.
Select Preferences.
Scroll down to the Notifications tab.
Check the Allow websites to ask for permission to send a notifications box.
Clear cache and history of the browser.
Login to the banter portal and click Allow when the pop-up appears regarding the desktop notifications.

Note: After clearing cache & history, reload the banter portal if you’re already logged in.

You will now be notified about every incoming call from a banter voice.

Google Chrome – How to Enable Desktop Notifications for Incoming calls

Open Google Chrome.
Login to your banter account.
In the top-left corner, click view site information (Lock icon at the address bar).
Click Site Settings.
Scroll down to Notifications from the Permissions section.
Click on Ask default and select Allow.
Go to the banter portal and refresh the page to start receiving notifications.

You will now be notified about every incoming call from a banter voice.

Mozilla Firefox – How to Enable Desktop Notifications for Incoming calls

Open Mozilla Firefox.
Login to your banter account.
In the top-left corner, click view site information (Lock icon at the address bar).
Navigate to Permissions, click the gear icon settings.
Scroll down to Notifications from the Permissions section.
Click the Exceptions button from the Block Pop-up window.
Enter portal.banter.io in the address bar.
Click Allow.
Click Save Changes at the bottom of the page.
Refresh the banter portal.
Click the Allow button from the pop-up window.

You will now be notified about every incoming call from a banter voice.
